Norman Hemsley

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Norman our Regional President, passed away peacefully at home Friday 4th October 2024 with family around him.

The Region's thoughts are with the family.

Funeral arrangements will follow in due course.

Following the sad news about Norman Hemsley, we have some details about his funeral.

The funeral will be held at Bramcote Crematorium on Wednesday 6th November at 10:00 followed by an opportunity to share memories at the Boat & Horses, Beeston Rylands, NG9 1LP

Norman loved the colour purple so please feel free to wear purple on the day.

Family flowers only please and all donations will go to The Nottingham City Hospital Roof Garden on Hogarth Cancer Ward, a space Norman and his family enjoyed spending time in during his hospital stays. (Even on Norman's last day in hospital he was exchanging emails so that he could organise a team to sort this garden out!)
